Local Government (Elections) Order 2013
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 268A(1A) of the Local Government Act 1993 .

1. Short title This order may be cited as the Local Government (Elections) Order 2013 .
2. Commencement This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Postponement of 2013 ordinary elections Each ordinary election, in respect of a council, that is due to be held in 2013 is to be postponed.
4. Fixing of closing day in respect of postponed ordinary elections The closing day for each ordinary election, in respect of a council, that is due to be held in 2013 is the last Tuesday in October 2014.
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
