Proclamation under the Roads and Jetties Act 1935
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 7 of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 –
(a) declare the roads, or portions of roads, specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be subsidiary roads for the purposes of Part II of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 and classified as main roads; and (b) declare that the road specified in Schedule 2 to this proclamation, to the extent specified in that Schedule, ceases to be a subsidiary road for the purposes of Part II of that Act; and (c) amend the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1970, No. 67, as follows: (i) by omitting from Part I of the Second Schedule the item relating to the King Island Main Road and substituting the details specified in Schedule 3 to this proclamation; (ii) by omitting from Part II of the Second Schedule the item relating to the Pegarah Secondary Road; and (d) revoke the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1971, No. 32; and (e) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day upon which its making is notified in the Gazette. 27 October 2014
