Proclamation under the Roads and Jetties Act 1935
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 7 of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 –
(a) declare that the roads specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation cease to be subsidiary roads for the purposes of Part II of that Act; and (b) declare the roads, and portions of roads, specified in Schedule 2 to this proclamation to be subsidiary roads that are classified as developmental roads for the purposes of Part II of that Act; and (c) amend the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1970, No. 67, as follows: (i) by omitting, from Part I of the Second Schedule to that proclamation, the items relating to Gladstone and Ringarooma; (ii) by inserting, in Part IV of the Second Schedule to that proclamation, in their correct alphabetical positions, the roads specified in Schedule 3 to this proclamation; (d) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 21 September 2015
