Proclamation under the Roads and Jetties Act 1935
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 7 of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 –
(a) declare that the portion of road specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation ceases to be a State highway for the purposes of Part II of that Act; and (b) declare that the portion of road specified in Schedule 2 to this proclamation ceases to be a subsidiary road for the purposes of Part II of that Act; and (c) declare the roads and portions of roads specified in Schedule 3 to this proclamation to be a subsidiary road, and classified as a developmental road, for the purposes of Part II of that Act; and (d) amend the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1970, No. 67 as follows: (i) by omitting from the First Schedule to that proclamation the item relating to the Lyell Highway and substituting the following item: 174.86 Lyell Highway From its junction with the Brooker Highway at Granton to its junction with Harvey Street (Macquarie Heads Developmental Road) at Strahan, (via New Norfolk, Gretna, Ouse, Derwent Bridge and Queenstown) (281.41 kilometres)
