Proclamation under the Highways Act 1951 and the Roads and Jetties Act 1935
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 3 of the Highways Act 1951 and section 7 of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 –
(a) notify the dedication as a highway of the land of the Crown specified in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation; and (b) notify that the boundaries of the highway are the boundaries specified in that Schedule; and (c) declare the portion of road specified in Schedule 2 to this proclamation to be a subsidiary road, classified as a main road, for the purposes of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 ; and (d) declare that the portions of Colebrook Main Road specified in Schedule 3 to this proclamation cease to be a subsidiary road for the purposes of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 ; and (e) amend the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1970, No. 67, by omitting from Part I of the Second Schedule to that proclamation the item relating to the Colebrook Main Road and substituting the item specified in Schedule 4 to this proclamation; and (f) revoke the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1992, No. 139, insofar as it relates to Colebrook Main Road; and (f) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 5 July 2016

SCHEDULE 1 - Dedication of Crown land as Highway
PART 1 - Description
All those lands from a midpoint on Richmond Road (also known as Colebrook Main Road) approximately 235 metres west of Blair Street, Richmond, to a midpoint on the Colebrook Road (also known as Colebrook Main Road) approximately 231 metres north of Victoria Street, Richmond, including the Middle Tea Tree Road junction and Franklin Street junction, shown as Lot 1, Lot 2, and Lot 3 and shaded grey on Plan No. 10253 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation.
