Proclamation under the Roads and Jetties Act 1935
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 7 of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 –
(a) amend the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1970, No.67, by omitting from Part III of the Second Schedule to that proclamation the item relating to Coles Bay Tourist Road and substituting the following item: 16.09 Coles Bay From its junction with the Tasman Highway 410 metres north of Lynes Creek Bridge, south of Bicheno, to a point 120 metres north-west of its junction with Esplanade, Coles Bay (25.89 kilometres)
(b) declare that the portion of the road specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation ceases to be a subsidiary road for the purposes of Part II of that Act; and (c) revoke the proclamations notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1982, No.104, and Statutory Rules 1983, No.169; and (d) revoke the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1994, No.33, to the extent that it relates to the Coles Bay Tourist Road; and (e) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 29 November 2016
