Daylight Saving Regulations 2017
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Daylight Saving Act 2007 .

1. Short title These regulations may be cited as the Daylight Saving Regulations 2017 .
2. Commencement These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Prescribed period for daylight saving The period – (a) commencing at the hour of 2 a.m. (standard time) on the first Sunday in October in each year; and (b) ending at the hour of 3 a.m. (2 a.m. standard time) on the first Sunday in April in the following year – is prescribed for the purposes of section 4 of the Daylight Saving Act 2007 .
