Firearms Amendment Regulations 2017
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Firearms Act 1996 .

1. Short title These regulations may be cited as the Firearms Amendment Regulations 2017 .
2. Commencement These regulations take effect on 4 December 2017.
3. Principal Regulations In these regulations, the Firearms Regulations 2016 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. The amendment effected by this regulation has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Firearms Regulations 2016 .
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
Notified in the Gazette on 16 August 2017
These regulations are administered in the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management.
