COVID-19 Disease Emergency (Miscellaneous Provisions) Order 2020
I make the following order under section 25C(2) of the COVID-19 Disease Emergency (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 .

1. Short title This order may be cited as the COVID-19 Disease Emergency (Miscellaneous Provisions) Order 2020 .
2. Commencement This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Interpretation In this order – authorised officer has the same meaning as in the Emergency Management Act 2006 ; relative, in relation to a person, means – (a) the spouse, or de facto spouse, of the person; and (b) the mother or father of the person; and (c) a sister, brother, nephew or niece of the person; and (d) a grandparent of the person; and (e) a person in a significant relationship, within the meaning of the Relationships Act 2003 , with the person.
4. Declaration of circumstances (1) For the purposes of Part 6A of the COVID-19 Disease Emergency (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 , persons are to be taken to be members of a family if – (a) the persons have entered the State during the same 14-day period; and (b) each person – (i) is a relative of another person in the group; or (ii) entered the State as part of a group of persons who were travelling together as a group and who were permitted by an authorised officer to reside in quarantine in the same room in quarantine premises. (2) For the purposes of Part 6A of the COVID-19 Disease Emergency (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 , one member of a family who is a quarantined person on a day may be required to pay an amount of money under that Part in respect of all members of that family who are also quarantined persons on that day, if the person is the first member of the group who is recorded, in relation to a particular period of 14 days or less, in the registration details kept, for the purposes of the quarantine premises, by the staff responsible for receiving guests at the premises.
