Magistrates Court (Administrative Appeals Division) (Fees) Regulations 2022

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Magistrates Court (Administrative Appeals Division) Act 2001 .

1. Short title These regulations may be cited as the Magistrates Court (Administrative Appeals Division) (Fees) Regulations 2022 .

2. Commencement These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3. Interpretation In these regulations – Act means the Magistrates Court (Administrative Appeals Division) Act 2001 .

4. Fees The fees set out in Schedule 1 are prescribed as the fees that are payable under the Act in respect of the matters to which they relate.

5. Waiver of fees The Administrator may waive the payment of any fee prescribed under the Act in respect of an application to the Court (either at the time of the lodgement of the application or otherwise) if the Administrator is satisfied that the payment of the fee would result in undue hardship to the applicant.

6. Legislation rescinded The legislation specified in Schedule 2 is rescinded.
