Proclamation under the Roads and Jetties Act 1935

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 7 of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 –

(a) declare the portion of road specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be a subsidiary road, and classified as a developmental road, for the purposes of Part II of that Act; and (b) amend the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1970, No. 67 as follows: (i) by omitting from Part I of the Second Schedule to that proclamation the item relating to the Waratah Main Road and substituting the following item: 27.25 miles Waratah From its junction with the Murchison Highway at the Fingerpost to its junction with Corinna Developmental Road at Leatherwood Avenue, Savage River, via Camp Street, Smith Street and William Street in Waratah, and via the deviation at Savage River (43.85 kilometres)

(ii) by omitting from Part III of the Second Schedule to that proclamation the item relating to the Heemskirk Tourist Road and substituting the following item: 21.93 miles Heemskirk From its junction with the Zeehan Highway at the western boundary of Fowler Street in Zeehan to its junction with the Corinna Developmental Road, via Heemskirk Road (35.29 kilometres)
