Rail Infrastructure (Rail Network) Order 2024
I make the following order under sections 7 and 49 of the Rail Infrastructure Act 2007 .

1. Short title This order may be cited as the Rail Infrastructure (Rail Network) Order 2024 .
2. Commencement This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Interpretation The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if this order were regulations.
4. Principal Act In this order, the Rail Infrastructure Act 2007 is referred to as the Principal Act.
5. The amendment effected by this clause has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Rail Infrastructure Act 2007 .
6. Revocation of designation of ownership (1) In so far as it relates to the portion of railway specified in Plan No. 11477 in the Central Plan Register, the designation of Tasmanian Railway Pty Ltd (CAN 139 383 761) as Rail Infrastructure Owner is revoked. (2) All rail infrastructure associated with that portion of railway is transferred to the Crown.
