1. Citation These regulations are the Offshore Minerals (Registration Fees) Regulations 2010.

2. Commencement These regulations come into operation as follows — (a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the provisions of the Offshore Minerals Act 2003, other than sections 1 and 2, come into operation.

3. Prescribed percentage for s. 4(1) For the purposes of section 4(1) of the Act, the prescribed percentage is 1.5%.

4. Prescribed minimum amount for s. 4(3) For the purposes of section 4(3) of the Act, the prescribed minimum amount is $600.

5. Prescribed amount for s. 6(1) For the purposes of section 6(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $3 000.

6. Prescribed amount for s. 7(1) For the purposes of section 7(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $3 000.
