1. Citation These regulations may be cited as the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Regulations 1999.

2. Commencement These regulations come into operation on the day on which the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1998 comes into operation.

3. Term used in these regulations In these regulations — 10 year search means a search about a particular registrable event that is conducted in the Register, an index to the Register or both in respect of a period of 10 consecutive years or less. 4. Fees The fees set out in column 3 of the Table to this regulation are payable in respect of the corresponding matters set out in column 2 of the Table.
