Note: FAA AD 88-17-06 Amdt 39-5988 refers. Compliance: As per Requirement document. Background: Extensive cracking has been found in wing upper stringers at various rib locations. Previous repairs may not have been effective. Revision 3 to the ASB introduced further inspection and some rework. This amendment references the latest FAA AD but does not change the requirement.
