For those governors with a relief valve body which has a round port, by 31st July 1983 and every 500 hours time in service thereafter. Background: 1. The manufacturer advises instances of spring P/No. A3107 breakage. Breakage of this spring can cause lowering of governor oil pressure and a harmful "overspeed" of the propeller. 2. This AD has been reprinted to correct a typographical error under applicability for Hartzell FA-112, SIAI equivalent should read 260-13-272-03.
