Requirement: Action in accordance with the following Fairchild Service Bulletins as applicable: a. 226-76-009, b. 227-76-004, or c. CC7-76-001. Note: FAA AD 96-03-03 refers. Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 25 April 1996. Background: There have been reports of cable attaching hardware failing, one failure of which resulted in engine shut down. This Directive is intended to preclude such a failure.
