AD/EMB-110/49 Nose Landing Gear Downlock Spring 6/94 DM
Applicability: All Model EMB-110 aircraft, equipped with a NLG downlock part number 14300, 14300-A, 14300-000-01, or 110-9410-02-08.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Embraer Service Bulletin 110-32-0084.
Note: CTA AD 94-01-01 Amdt 39-729 refers.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 25 hours time in service after 27 April 1994.
Background: A report was received of the disengagement of both springs from a nose landing gear downlock assembly, which resulted in the down latch assuming a position which prevented the nose landing gear locking down. An investigation revealed that a loss of spring tension had occurred.
