AD/JETSTREAM/47 Fuel Water-Drain-Valve Body Assembly 9/91 DM
Applicability: All HP137 Mk 1 and Jetstream series 200 with modification 5269 incorporated, Jetstream series 3100 with modification JM5269 or JM 7552 incorporated or Jetstream series 3200 aircraft constructors numbers in the range 790 to 900.
Requirement: Unless previously carried out; action in accordance with the Technical Requirements of British Aerospace SB 28-JM 5354.
Note: This SB has been classified mandatory by the UK CAA.
Compliance: 1. Part A of the Requirement Document by 31 August 1991.
2. Part B of the Requirement Document by 31 December 1991.
Background: The manufacturer has advised that due to lack of positive locking between the existing valve body and the nut retainer assembly the valve body can loosen and become detached with consequent loss of fuel.
