AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Robin Aviation Series Aeroplanes
AD/ROBIN/39 State of Design Airworthiness Directives 1/2008 DM
Applicability: All Robin HR200-100, HR200-120, HR200-120B, HR200-160, HR200-100S, R2160, R2100, R2100A, R2160D, R2112, R2160I and R2120U aircraft.
Requirement: 1. Determine the applicability of the CAA (NZ) Airworthiness Directives (AD) listed in Table 1.
2. If it is determined that a CAA (NZ) AD is applicable and has not been previously accomplished, perform the actions required by the CAA (NZ) AD.
Note 1: In some cases the CAA (NZ) AD will refer to equivalent French DGAC ADs as a means of compliance with the AD. Table 1 provides a list of those ADs. If the equivalent Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile (DGAC) AD is reflected in the aircraft log books as been complied with then no further action is required for the equivalent CAA (NZ) AD.

Note 2: NZ CAA ADs may be accessed via the internet at the following URL: http://www.caa.govt.nz/Airworthiness_Directives/Airworthiness_Directives_Home.htm
Compliance: For Requirements 1 and 2 - Within 30 days after the effective date of this AD or prior to the issue of a Certificate of Airworthiness, whichever occurs first.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 5 December 2007.
Background: Alpha Aviation Design Ltd of Hamilton New Zealand is now the Type Certificate holder for the aircraft models listed in the applicability section of this AD.
CASA has reviewed the ADs issued by the CAA (NZ) and has determined that the ADs listed in Table 1 may be applicable to Australian aircraft. The ADs listed in Table 1 of this AD require either one time actions for which the compliance date and/or period has passed or multiple inspection/actions until a terminating action has been applied and the compliance date and/or period for the terminating action has passed.
CASA appreciates that, due to date of aircraft manufacture or aircraft configuration and modification status, not all the ADs listed in Table 1 of this AD will be applicable to all Models.
