GOVERNMENT INSURANCE OFFICE OF NEW SOUTH WALES v
CLIFT
SUPREME COURT OF NEW SOUTH WALES — COURT OF APPEAL
CLARKE JA, MEAGHER JA and HANDLEY JA
4 November 1993
[1993] NSWCA 114
Handley JA. This is an appeal by a defendant from an assessment of damages
by Badgery-Parker J. The plaintiff was injured as a young boy. His Honour
assessed damages in the sum of $586,952.93.
In my opinion his Honour was clearly correct for the reasons he gave and,
speaking for myself, I am prepared to adopt them as the reasons for dismissing
the appeal.
Clarke JA. I agree.
Meagher JA. I agree.
Clarke JA. The appeal is dismissed with costs.
Orders accordingly.
