The Parliament of Queensland enacts—

Short title This Act may be cited as the Gas Amendment Act (No. 2) 2001.

Act amended This Act amends the Gas Act 1965.

Amendment of s 2 (Relationship to prescribed Acts) (1) Section 2(2)— insert— '(ab)Gas Pipelines Access (Queensland) Law; or'. (2) Section 2(2)(ab) to (c)— renumber as section 2(2)(b) to (d).

Amendment of s 5 (Definitions) (1) Section 5, definition "contestable consumer", 'section 5B'— omit, insert— 'section 33A'. (2) Section 5, definition "non-contestable consumer", 'section SC'— omit, insert—

'section 33B'.

Relocation and renumbering of s 5B (Meaning of "'contestable consumer'')

Section 5B—
